Jacob Lujan is a student majoring in Creative Media Industries at Texas Tech University currently serving as the Managing and Multimedia Editor at The Daily Toreador.

His portfolio includes collaborations with The Daily Toreador, The Texas Tribune, the Lubbock Avalanche-Journal (part of the USA Today network), the National Premier Soccer League, and Red Raider Sports (affiliated with Rivals.com).​

In addition to his editorial role, Jacob is a member of The New York Times Corps, a selective two-year mentorship program that provides guidance and support to aspiring journalists.

His commitment to visual storytelling has been recognized through several accolades, including a Gold award in the Sports Portfolio category at the College Photographer of the Year competition and national and state first-place finishes for his feature photography.

Jacob's passion for visual journalism is complemented by his background in electronics and electrical engineering, as well as his achievement of the Eagle Scout rank.

He is open to freelance opportunities in the South Plains region, continually seeking to expand his storytelling capabilities through diverse assignments.
